Grandmaster Tomi Harell
With over 30 years of martial arts experience, Grandmaster Tomi Harell has dedicated his life to the study, practice, and teaching of the Filipino Martial Arts. Holding the rank of Lakan Walo (8th Degree Black Belt) in Kombatan, he is the Chief Instructor of Kombatan and Kalis Ilustrisimo Finland.
Based at Lohjan Itsepuolustuskoulu in Lohja, Finland, Tomi leads the daily training and development of both Kombatan and Kalis Ilustrisimo. His teaching combines technical excellence with a welcoming atmosphere, helping students of all ages and experience levels grow in skill, confidence, and character.
For Tomi, Kombatan is far more than a hobby or a profession—it is a way of life. Together with his family, he has devoted himself to preserving, promoting, and sharing the traditions and values of Filipino Martial Arts with students in Finland and around the world.
